Once again I’ve had a fantastic experience with Industry Wide Training. Had a training with Susanna today who was fantastic, knowledgeable and warm, but also kept things fun and engaging. Have had Dimitri in the past who is also great. Such an affordable and high quality option for CPR refreshers or your full first aid training, and the online modules are easy to navigate. The course content was excellent, and the instructor was very professional, knowledgeable, and supportive. I really enjoyed the learning experience and found it very helpful. The only downside was the parking situation. Parking is limited to 2 hours, so I had to move my car during the class, which was a bit inconvenient. This course covers the skills and knowledge for preparing for emergency situations, identifying and assessing an emergency, safely confining emergencies, using initial response equipment, and reporting on the facility’s emergency response

Students who successfully complete their ‘PUAFER008’ Confine Small Emergencies in a Facility and are marked competent will receive a certificate in: 

  • PUAFER008 Confine Small Emergencies in a Facility.

 This will be emailed to the student within 24 hours of completing the course.

  • Manage a small chemical spill
  • Put out a small paper/wood fire

Documentation:

  • Incident/Emergency report

Theory assessment:

  • A written assessment consisting of multiple-choice and short answer questions. The student must complete all assessment questions
